Our Journey
Where It All Began
We’ve been together for over 16 years and married for 10. From the very beginning, our relationship has been built on balance, support, and a shared understanding of what truly matters in life.
If you asked the people who know us best, they would probably say we are a classic case of opposites attracting. Mike brings creativity, spontaneity, and vision, while Dave brings structure, consistency, and a steady sense of direction. Together, those differences have always worked in our favor… helping us grow stronger as a team and approach life side by side.
The Life We’ve Built
As our relationship grew, so did our vision for the life we wanted to create. During COVID, we made the decision to take a leap and build something of our own. We worked hard, supported each other, and made our dream of owning a home a reality.
Our home in Queens is more than just a place to live… it’s something we’ve built together with intention. Mike’s creativity can be seen in every space, from the way each room has its own personality to the way the house transforms during the holidays. Dave brings the structure behind it all, making sure every idea becomes something real. We’ve learned that when we work together, nothing feels out of reach. That sense of teamwork is something we carry into everything we do.
Life in Our Home
Our home has become a place where people naturally gather. We host Sunday dinners, celebrate holidays, and spend as much time as we can surrounded by family and friends. Our backyard is one of our favorite places… especially in the summer when we host BBQs and our annual Fourth of July celebration, with the sky full of fireworks and the yard full of people we love
We enjoy the everyday moments just as much… cooking together, working on projects, playing games, and spending time with our nieces. We’ve also loved sharing new experiences with them… from Broadway shows to travel to trying new foods and cultures. We’ve created a home that feels welcoming, lived-in, and full of life… the kind of place where kids run around, people feel comfortable, and memories are constantly being made.
The Meaning Behind the Robots
You may notice small robots throughout our site. They’ve become a fun and meaningful symbol for us.
Each robot represents something a little different… creativity, curiosity, individuality, and growth. Just like people, no two are exactly the same. They reflect the idea that every child is unique, and we believe in creating a space where a child can grow into exactly who they are meant to be.
They also represent us. Mike brings the creative design and imagination, while Dave brings the structure and logic that helps bring those ideas to life. Together, we build something that works… just like the life we’ve created.
Looking Ahead
As we’ve grown together, one thing has always remained constant… our desire to become parents. For Mike, growing up in a single-parent household and moving from place to place made stability something deeply meaningful. It shaped a strong desire to one day create a home that feels secure, consistent, and truly rooted. For both of us, that dream is now a reality. We’ve built a home, a support system, and a life that we’re proud of. Now, we’re ready to share it. We look forward to the everyday moments… playing in the backyard, gardening together, teaching a child how to grow their own fruits and vegetables, and creating a home filled with encouragement, laughter, and love.
