Where It All Began

We’ve been together for over 16 years and married for 10. From the very beginning, our relationship has been built on balance, support, and a shared understanding of what truly matters in life.

People who know us best would probably describe us as opposites in the best way possible. Mike brings creativity, spontaneity, and imagination, while Dave brings structure, consistency, and calm. Together, those differences have helped us grow stronger as partners and build a life rooted in teamwork, trust, and love.

The Life We’ve Built

As our relationship grew, so did our vision for the future. Over the years, we’ve supported one another through career changes, challenges, creative projects, and new experiences... always encouraging each other to dream bigger.

During COVID, we made the decision to take a leap and build something of our own. What started as a goal quickly became one of the proudest moments of our lives... creating a home and future we truly built together.

Over time, that home became a place where people naturally gather... Sunday dinners, holidays, backyard BBQs, movie nights, and time spent surrounded by family and friends. We’ve created a space filled with warmth, laughter, creativity, and traditions we hope to one day share with a child.

The Meaning Behind the Robots

You may notice small robots throughout our site. What started as a fun creative project slowly became something much more meaningful to us.

Each robot is unique... handmade, imperfect, and full of personality. To us, they represent individuality, curiosity, creativity, and growth. They remind us that every child deserves to be loved for exactly who they are.

In many ways, the robots also reflect us. Mike brings imagination and creativity, while Dave brings structure and logic that help bring those ideas to life. Together, we’ve built a relationship rooted in balance, teamwork, and love.

One dream has stayed constant throughout our lives together... becoming parents.

We look forward to the everyday moments that make a family feel special... helping with homework at the kitchen table, bedtime routines, celebrating milestones, supporting passions, creating traditions, and building a home where a child feels safe being fully themselves.

More than anything, we hope to raise a child who feels deeply loved, encouraged, supported, and free to grow into exactly who they are meant to be.
