Hi, I’m Dave.

I'm someone who finds joy in taking care of the people I love. Friends and family often describe me as calm, dependable, and someone they can always count on. I enjoy learning new things, setting goals, and following through, but what matters most to me is building strong relationships and creating a home where everyone feels welcome, supported, and loved. Whether I'm spending time with family, tackling a new challenge, or simply enjoying a quiet evening at home, I believe the best moments in life are the ones we share together.

Growing Up

I’ve always enjoyed setting goals and challenging myself to see what I'm capable of. Running became one of those challenges. What started as a personal goal eventually led me to complete four full marathons and more than ten half marathons. Running taught me that big goals are accomplished one step at a time, reinforcing the importance of patience, consistency, and showing up every day. That same curiosity carries into my other hobbies. I'm a lifelong comic book fan who loves getting lost in a great story, whether it's Marvel, DC, or discovering something new. I also enjoy podcasts, trivia, and I'm currently working toward one of my longtime goals of competing on Jeopardy!. I simply love learning and enjoy that there's always something new to discover.

Finding My Way

Life Today

Today, my favorite place to be is home with Mike, our pets, and the people we love. I enjoy the simple moments, whether it's relaxing with family, working on a puzzle, cheering on the Mets, or hosting friends for a backyard barbecue. I also love spending time with our nieces, making them laugh, reading together, and sharing little adventures they'll remember. Family has always been the center of my life, and creating traditions that bring everyone together is something I genuinely enjoy. Those everyday moments are the ones I look forward to sharing with a child.

Looking Ahead

Becoming a dad is something I've looked forward to for a very long time. In college, my friends jokingly nicknamed me "Papa Bear" because I naturally looked after the people around me, and that instinct has never left. I hope to be the kind of dad who listens first, offers encouragement, celebrates every success, and helps a child feel safe enough to always be themselves. Mike and I balance each other in the best ways, and together we've built a home filled with patience, laughter, stability, and unconditional love. I can't wait to share that life with a child and grow together as a family. If there's one thing I hope a child always knows, it's that they'll never have to wonder whether they're loved, supported, or have someone cheering them on.
