Hi, I’m Mike.
I’m someone who leads with creativity, warmth, and a strong sense of home. I love creating spaces where people feel comfortable and cared for, and I’ve always been drawn to making everyday life feel a little more special. At the center of everything I do is family, connection, and building a life that feels steady, supportive, and full of love.
Growing Up
I grew up in Brooklyn in a single-parent household, which shaped so much of who I am today. Family was always incredibly important to me, and I learned early on the value of resilience, independence, and showing up for the people you love. Those experiences gave me a deep appreciation for stability and the kind of home environment every child deserves. From a young age, I was drawn to creativity… whether it was drawing, designing, or finding ways to make something beautiful out of what I had. That creativity has stayed with me and continues to shape how I move through the world.
Finding My Way
As I got older, I continued to lean into both my creative side and my need for structure. I enjoy having a sense of routine while also making space for spontaneity and new ideas. I’ve always been someone who likes to improve things… whether it’s working on projects around the house, redesigning a space, or starting something new just because inspiration strikes. I also find a lot of joy in the small, everyday moments… cooking, working on Lego builds, and spending time at home. Those quiet routines are just as meaningful to me as the bigger moments.
Life Today
Today, my life centers around the home Dave and I have built together. I take a lot of pride in creating a space that feels warm, welcoming, and full of personality… especially during the holidays, when decorating becomes something I really enjoy. We spend a lot of time with our family, hosting dinners, celebrating milestones, and just being together. I also love sharing experiences with our nieces… whether it’s taking them to Broadway shows, introducing them to new places, or simply spending time together at home.
Looking Ahead
Becoming a parent is something I’ve wanted for a long time. Growing up the way I did, I understand how important it is for a child to feel supported, secure, and truly seen. I want to create a home where a child feels safe to be themselves, encouraged to grow, and surrounded by love every single day. I’m incredibly grateful for the life Dave and I have built together. We balance each other in a way that makes our home feel steady, warm, and full of care, and I can’t wait for the day we get to share that with a child.
